Hi, I’m Ron

By the world’s standards, you’re both successes. You’ve built careers, raised families, kept promises. People look at your relationship and see two people who have it together. But between the two of you, in the moments no one else sees, success is nowhere to be found.

You’re going through the motions with each other. You feel like roommates managing a household instead of partners sharing a life. You want to set it down, even for a minute, together. Gritting your teeth through it isn’t working anymore. Not separately, and not as a couple.

But you don’t stop. You keep showing up for your work, your kids, your obligations, even when you’re both running on empty with each other. Somewhere along the way, your relationship became the one place you stopped showing up the same way. Setting it down wasn’t something either one of you was taught.

I know where you are: convinced you just need to keep going, knowing something is wrong between you, but showing up for everyone else anyway. If this speaks to you, whether one of you found this page or you’re reading it together, you’re in the right place.

You’re making it just fine on the outside. But between the two of you, you don’t know what to do with everything that’s happening. You’re out of moves in your own relationship. And you’re afraid that going to therapy might undo the things that are working, might unravel how you’ve managed to hold it together this long.

I get it. We don’t have to undo anything that’s working. Maybe we just figure out how to connect with each other again, how to make your relationship less “work”; and more something you actually enjoy.

Who I Work With

I work with couples, a lot of them partners living two lives together: the one other people see, and the one that stays hidden between you. The problem usually isn’t that you can’t make it through. You both learned, from an early age, to cope by stuffing it all inside and pushing past it, and now that strategy isn’t working anymore.

That’s what we can work on together: keeping what works and adding what’s missing.
